A week ago today we took Adelyn to her first doctors appointment. She did very well, although she did not like being undressed and weighed, as the pictures shows. As soon as she was handed back to her daddy, though, she calmed down. Everything checked out well, and she weighed 6lbs 11oz with her diaper on. She didn't loose as much weight as some babies do b/c she was getting fluids in the hospital. Her next appointment is next Friday, and I am interested to see how big she has gotten.
It has been a very busy week as we all have been getting adjusted to being a family of three. It is wonderful and overwhelming. Seeing her little face just fills me with joy. Steven and I feel like she is getting bigger every day, and the time is really flying by!
