The River House/ 4th of July

This 4th of July, we went to Steven's grandparent's river house. We love going to the River House and have been every year since we started dating. It is so relaxing and fun, and we love visiting with all the Luck side of the family. This year there was a record number of people in the house because of all the grandbabies, and the Luck seniors managed to host 20 of us. It was lots of fun for Adelyn to play with all of her cousins, 2nd cousins, aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, grandparents and great grandparents...whoo lots of family! It was great fun, and we are excited for many more years of 4th of July fun at the River!!

Adelyn had lots of fun playing in the baby pool with everyone. Madison was great with keeping her head out of the water. I, on the other hand, was a bit slower to grab her as she slipped, so I guess she got used to "swimming" in the baby pool.

Fun with Dee and Sam

Two weeks ago, Adelyn's Great Grandparents, DeeDee and Sam, stopped by Charlottesville on their way up to Ohio. Adelyn and I went down to visit with them and were able to spend a lot of fun time with family. Unfortunately, a day before they arrived to Charlottesville, the crazy "micro burst" happened and so my parents had no electricity, cable, or internet. It was definitely a hot and dark visit, but still lots of fun!

Aunt Ashley is Home!!!

This is kind of a late post b/c Ashley got home a month ago, but we are just so excited to have her back. She is back in the US for good now, and Adelyn has had so much fun playing with her auntie. We are thrilled to be spending lots more time with her this year.
