Grandparents!!

Adelyn absolutely loves her grandparents!! She had a wonderful time at the beach with Poppy and Lisee and even got to hang out with Lisee a few days while I was apartment shopping. Last weekend, Grammy and Pop Rock came up to visit, and they got to spend a lot of time with her as well. She can't wait to see them all again!!

Poppy kept her nice and warm after she had been playing in the pool. She sat with him for a very long time and she was perfectly content.


Poppy also held her on the beach and let her stand up so she could look all around.

Grandma Luck and Pop came to visit and we all went for a walk. Adelyn fell asleep in Pop's arms. Something she loves to do!

Adelyn loved spending time with Grandma Luck. Don't they look so cute in their matching pink!

Addie just had to show Pop her sunshine. He got down and looked at it with her!

Beach Baby

This past week, Steven, Adelyn, and I went to the beach with the Woods and McNerneys in Whalehead on the Outerbanks. This has been a long time tradition of the Woods and the McNerneys, and it was crazy to bring our baby girl with us this year. It was a lot of fun, and Adelyn even got to spend a little bit of time in the sand and water. She didn't seem to be bothered by the waves as they hit her legs, and she loved putting her feet in the sand. We had lots of fun with both families, and Adelyn got to hang out with Turner, Todd and Katherine's son, a lot. It was a great week, although we did miss spending time with the Luck side of the family at their beach week. Looking forward to playing in the sand next year with Robert!

Adelyn had lots of fun with Erin. She and Stephanie were very helpful to mommy!

As always, Adelyn loved her time with Uncle Skip. He is sooo cool. She even got to meet his girlfriend, Anne Collier.

Adelyn loved her cool shades and islet cover-up. Got to be snazzy going to the beach, of course!

Adelyn took several naps at the beach in her stroller. It is a bassinet and did a wonderful job protecting her from the sand and sun during her nap time.
