| Our precious little boy is one year old today! I can't even believe it. This year has definitely flown by, and while it was an amazing year, Steven and I are happy for a new one to begin. Braden has such a joyful and firey spirit. He started smiling at 3weeks (I
promise it was intentional) and whoever meets him says that they have
never seen a baby smile so much. And it is true! But, he also has a very strong opinion and for the first 4 months of his life, sleep and riding in the car were 2 things about which he refused to agree with us. At 4 months, though, he started sleeping well and really has
been a great sleeper ever since. He is all boy, turning everything into a vehicle, already saying "ball", and making the best car noise ever. He adores his sister, and even though he does like to take her toys and is already pushing her around a bit, she really does love him a lot too and often smothers him with hugs and kisses. She calls him "Bubba" and I think the nickname will stick. He also really loves his daddy, and gets SOOO excited whenever he comes home. Braden is a snuggler, a laugher, a busy body, a climber, a flirt, and simply a joy to have in our family. We feel so blessed to be his parents, and we can't wait to see him grow into his personality even more (and this boy sure has personality!) We cannot imagine life without him, and while our lives have gotten a bit noisier, they have also been filled with so much more joy and laughter. Thank you sweet boy, for blessing us so much! |
